Are your cards printed on photo paper or cardstock? TOP
Our announcements are 4x6 matte finish photographs. They are actual photographs printed on Fuji Color Professional Paper. Unlike some of our competitors, our announcements will not fade and are printed on thick, durable paper that will stand up to the test of time. Do you have a minimum order? TOP
Yes. Due to the time and care that it takes to prepare your personalized announcement, there is a minimum order of 20 on all 4x6 photo cards and photo magnets. In addition, all magnets must be ordered in quantities of 10. There is no order minimum on keepsake collages.
How do I send my pictures to you? TOP
You can e-mail your pictures to announcementsgalore@gmail.com. Please put your name and/or order number in the subject line. We do not accept mailed photographs, they must be scanned and e-mailed to us. Our goal is to make the highest quality announcement possible. In order to do that, there are certain requirements we ask that you follow when sending us your photographs. Please see our Photo Requirements page for a complete reference list.
What resolution and file format should my photos be sent in? TOP
A 1200x1800 pixel image is needed to the best quality announcement possible, especially if it is a large featured photo in your design. A resolution of 300dpi is also required. Set your digital camera to the highest resolution setting to ensure this. Your photos should be saved and sent as either a jpg, tiff or psd file. Announcements Galore aims to provide the highest quality product possible. The higher quality photo you submit, the higher quality your announcements will ultimately be. What kind of adjustments can you make to my photos? TOP
Great care is taken when adjusting your photos. Your photos are what truly sets your announcement apart. A graphic designer takes time to adjust and manipulate each photo to create the best announcement possible. All adjustments made to your photos are free. We can adjust the brightness, change them to black and white, crop them to your liking, and on most occasions remove a date stamp. Unfortunately, blurry photos cannot be repaired. Can the design of my card be altered? TOP
Yes. The fonts, colors and verbiage on your announcements can all be customized. A graphic designer spends a great deal of time on each announcement to make sure they meet your expectations.
Will I receive a proof of my card before you print my order? TOP
Of course. Because of the time and effort that is spent to make your personalized announcement special, we require that a proof is approved before we print. A proof will be e-mailed to you within 3 business days of receiving your order, payment and photos. If your photos do not meet our requirements, your proof could be delayed. (See our Photo Requirements page for more information.) Changes can then be made per your suggestions. Unlike our competitors, we offer unlimited free proofs. Our goal is to make sure you are completely satisfied before your announcements print and ship. We will not print until you have given final approval. During this process it is best to check your e-mail account often and watch your junk mail folder incase our e-mails are automatically sent there.
How long before my order ships? TOP
After you have given final approval your 4x6 announcements and/or photo collages will print and ship within 5 business days. (There may be exceptions during busy times and holidays.) Also, photo magnets have extended delivery times. Please see the photo magnet product information for more details and shipping options.
Can I get extra envelopes? TOP
Yes. We provide one extra envelope per 25 announcements ordered. If you need additional envelopes they can be found on our Accessories page.
Can I place a re-order? TOP
Yes. Simply select the announcement design and order your new quantity. Instead of resubmitting your information, simply include a note letting us know that your order is a reorder. (Please include your original order number.) Reprints will be printed exactly as the original order, changes can not be made and you will not receive a proof. Our minimum quantity of 20 announcements also applies to reorders. Your reorder will ship within 5 business days.
What is your cancellation or return policy? TOP
If you wish to cancel your order you may do so by emailing customerservice@announcementsgalore.com However, if your announcements have entered the design phase you will automatically be billed a $25 cancellation fee. This is due to the amount of time that is spent adjusting your photos and customizing your announcements. Because of the personalized announcements we offer, we cannot accept returns. However, if a mistake is made on our end we will replace your order.
Can I send a professional photograph? TOP
Yes. However, professional photographs must be accompanied by written permission from the photographer. Please remember that reproducing copyrighted images is illegal and susceptible to heavy fines.
Do you offer different sizes of announcements? TOP
No. All announcements are 4x6 due to popularity and proper etiquette.
Are your designs interchangeable? TOP
Yes. Any design can be used for any announcement. For example, if you see a holiday design you would like used for a birth announcement this can easily be done. Just be sure to include all the verbiage in the e-mail you send to announcementsgalore@gmail.com after you place your order. Announcements Galore strives to provide a large selection of designs for any occasion. Do you pre-ship envelopes early? TOP
No. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to pre-ship envelopes.
My coupon code is not working, what's wrong? TOP
Since our redesign some coupon codes did not get transferred appropriately. Please e-mail us at customerservice@announcementsgalore.com and we will send you a new code.
